Player Lists
The following fields are available when adding or editing player lists.
Standard Fields
| Title | Enter the title of the player list. |
| Permalink | A direct link to the list, automatically generated based on the title. |
| Editor | A visual or text editor for adding content above the list. All standard WordPress editor features can be used in this section, including shortcodes and formatting options. |
| User | Select a user to give them full access to edit this player list. |
| Featured Image | Set a featured image to be displayed on the player list page. |
Player List
| Values | Use this table to view automatically calculated values. Click a cell to override by entering a new value. |
| Adjustments | Use this table to enter adjustments to the automatic values. Positive and negative values can be entered for the adjustment. |
| # or Rank | When the “Sort by” setting is “Squad Number” or “Name”, the first column is used for displaying squad numbers. Otherwise, this column is dedicated to player rank based on the value of that statistic. |
| Player | Each player is displayed on their own row with fields to enter values. Click the pencil icon to edit the player’s display name. |
| Team | Select a team to associate with each player. |
| Position | Select a position to associate with each player, or leave as “Auto” to automatically display the player’s position as defined in their profile. |
| Performance | Player performance, metrics, and statistics that are selected in the “Columns” section are displayed in this table. |
Attributes
| Order | Change this number to adjust default player list order (ascending). |
Shortcodes
| Player List | Visible when “Layout” is set to “List”. Copy and paste this shortcode into any post, page, or text widget to display the player list. |
| Player Gallery | Visible when “Layout” is set to “Gallery”. Copy and paste this shortcode into any post, page, or text widget to display the player gallery. |
Layout
| List | A detailed table of players with columns for each performance, metric, and statistic. |
| Gallery | A tiled gallery layout with a photo, squad numbers and name accompanying each player. |
Columns
| Squad Number or Rank | Use this option to display each player’s squad number or rank, depending on the “Sort by” setting. When this setting is “Squad Number” or “Name”, the squad number will be displayed. Otherwise, the column is dedicated to player rank. |
| Team | Use this option to display the team that each player is associated with. |
| Position | Use this option to display the position of each player. |
| Performance | Use these options to display any configured player performance. |
| Metrics | Use these options to display any configured player metric. |
| Statistics | Use these options to display any configured player statistic. |
Details
| Heading | Enter a heading to display at the top of the player list |
| Competition | Select one or more competitions to get players from. |
| Season | Select one or more seasons to get players from. |
| Position | Select one or more positions to get players from. |
| Team | Select a team to get players from. |
| Grouping | Choose whether to group players into smaller lists by position. |
| Sort by | Choose how to sort players in the player list. All configured player performance, metrics, and statistics are available, in addition to “Squad Number” and “Name”. |
| Sort Order | Choose whether to sort players in ascending or descending order. |
| Players | Select whether players are chosen manually or automatically by competition and season. |
