Players

The following fields are available when adding or editing players.

Name	Enter the name of the player.
Permalink	A direct link to the player, automatically generated based on the name.
Editor	A visual or text editor which will be used as the player profile. All standard WordPress editor features can be used in this section, including shortcodes and formatting options.
Excerpt	An optional hand-crafted summary of the player that is displayed directly above the player profile.
User	Select a user to give them full access to edit this player.
Photo	Set a logo image to be used where player photos are displayed.

Competitions	A table is displayed for each competition, each containing a row for each season and a total row.
Seasons	A row is displayed for each season with separate statistics and an option to select the team the player was on during that season.
Teams	Select a team for each season played. Leave a option unselected to hide the row for that season.
Total	Displayed at the bottom of the competition statistics, the total values are calculated by adding statistics from all seasons in that competition. Leave empty to use the automatic values, or enter a new value to manually override.

Order

Change this number to adjust default player order (ascending).

Username

Enter a Twitter username to display tweets from that account.

Details	Copy and paste this shortcode into any post, page, or text widget to display the player details.
Statistics	Copy and paste this shortcode into any post, page, or text widget to display the player statistics.

Squad Number	Enter the player’s standard squad number, which will be used as their default squad number in events.
Nationality	Select one or more nationalities for the player.
Positions	Select one or more positions played by this player.
Current Teams	Select one or more teams that the player belongs to.
Past Teams	Select one or more teams that the player has belonged to in the past.
Competitions	Select one or more competitions that the player belongs to.
Seasons	Select one or more seasons that the player belongs to.

If configured, a field is displayed for each player metric. Enter a value to display it in the details section when viewing the player profile.
